Confucius Institute Nürnberg at Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen- Nürnberg(Germany)

With the authorization of the Office of Chinese Language  Council  International,  Confucius Institute Nuremberg-Erlangen was established on May 2nd, 2006, in collaboration with Beijing Foreign Language University. The undertakers of Ci Nuremberg-Erlangen are Beijing Foreign Studies Universtiy(BFSU) and Friedlich Alexander University Nuremberg Erlangen(FAU). As FAU lies in two cities in the south of Germany, CI Nuremberg-Erlangen has two different campuses, one in Erlangen and one in Nuremberg. Bavaria is the most developed state  Germany. There are not only.inernational  Corporations like Servies：CI Nuremberg-Erlangen is a registered non- profit assciation and it established its structure according to the local government, with a Board of Trustees. This Board of Trustees consists of one German chair, one Chinese vice-chair and four trustees, two from China and two from Germany. The German chair and the Chinese vice-chair have the same power. The Chinese and German presidents of CI are nominated by the chair of the Board and then elected and appointed by the Board. They have the same rights and take charge of the civil services of Cl Simenso Puma, Adidas but also a lot of medium-sized enterprises who have close relationship with China. These companies need to know the situation in China and also need people with Chinese ability. This gives CI Nuremberg-Erlangen a lot of business opportunities.
