The Giant Buddha in Leshan, chiseled out on the cliff of the Lingyun Mountain, is located at the foot of Qiluan Peak where the Minjiang, Qingyijiang and Daduhe rivers converge to the east of Leshan City, Sichuan Province. It is a stone carving statue of Buddha made in the Tang Dynasty. It is the biggest stone carving statue in the world.
