My family live in a Siheyuan, located in the suburb. I love it more and more as I am working in the city. It's so noisy here.
Siheyuan is my favourite style of housing, cause this traditional protective family building can satisfy my Chinese historic complex . For me, it stands for history itself --- trace of our ancestors and evidence of the stories and legends I've learned since childhood. I awlways dream of living in one of my own.
Nice! Not much left in Beijing...
Great introduction to 四合院! I wish I could own one.
I am planning to go to Siheyuan! May be this video can help me get more about it, thank you!
